Background:
My mom has always had a passion for gardening in our home. Watering every day after work can be tiring so I created a water sprinkling system from scratch hose pipes and 3D-printed sprinklers to help automate some of her routine watering.
Ultimately, this project allowed me to create a more sustainable watering process.

Iterative Design Process (3D Models)
Design created in Solidworks. Later refined into final model.
Note: Fillets were used in the smaller diameter tube to allow greater water flow
1st Iteration:
Baseline model water sprinkler
2nd Iteration:
Filets/Chamfers added for structural integrity
Final Design:
Mirrored support columns for maximum support
Added large filet in water channel for better flow.
Added conical top splitter for even water dispersion.
Assembly
The 3D-printed water sprinkler were connected to segment hoses and secured tightly with hose clamps. (Shown on left)
